Gun Control Groups Closing in on the NRA

Gun control activists are on the rampage after this weekend’s blood bath in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. They are taking a stance and rising up again against the National Rifle Association to take away our Second Amendment rights. The killing was senseless and uncalled for, but it seems there are only a select few shootings which make the news media to make a case for Liberals who know nothing of the meaning behind the Second Amendment. There were mass shootings in Houston, Texas and in Florida which only showed up on the news media one time as compared to El Paso and Dayton. This proves that this is all a political scheme and nothing more.

Gun control activists are funded by the former New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and in February passed a gun control bill through the House of Representatives. One which has not been passed in 25 years, and it only passed through Democratic-controlled states. The structural foundations set in place by our forefathers has been supported by congressional Republicans and President Donald Trump and remains intact.

The N.R.A.’s endorsement of support has felt their critical seal of approval from gun control activists, but the N.R.A. has never backed down from supporting our rights. There is no doubt that the playing field is now level between the N.R.A. and the activists who seek to overthrow the Second Amendment. Since 1994, the N.R.A. has always had the upper hand when backing Republicans. Now, we face a different day in time where the media and Democrats poison the minds of the U.S. citizens. People want change in gun control laws but neglect to realize how it affects our right to defend ourselves. Taking away guns from the good citizens will never take it out the hands of the criminals.

Not even 24 hours had passed when Democrats jumpstarted the bandwagon to call for more gun control laws. It is a shame they did not even take the time to offer prayers and condolences from this senseless act. Instead, they were ready to push their agendas and put the prayers and condolences on the back burner. Senator Kamala Harris of California, who is also a Democratic primary candidate for president, stated, “No more thoughts and prayers. We need action.” Really Senator? “No more thoughts and prayers?” How heartless can a person be to make such a statement? How hypocritical to condemn President Trump on things he has said which is the truth, and she has her nerve to tell the U.S. citizens and the world not to think about or send prayers for such a tragedy.

The N.R.A has defeated many gun control laws together with their allies. There are hundreds of mass shootings every year, and only a few made a difference to people because none of the others mattered to the Democrats. Let us face it, the only reason this got exposed was that President Trump was called a “racist,” which he is not, and the Democrats can use it against him since it came as a white supremacist killing Mexicans. While they are at it, they can cry for more gun control and more ways to let in immigrants from the southern border.

Amazingly, gun control activists are also going after Democrats who do not fight hard enough to push for gun control laws, not just Republicans. Some of the Senate Democrats face the heat as they criticized Senator Mitch McConnell after he tweeted, “Sickening to learn this morning of another mass murder in Dayton, Ohio overnight. Two horrifying acts of violence in less than 24 hours. We stand with law enforcement as they continue working to keep Americans safe and bring justice.” The Democrats will not get off easy as they too are being held accountable by the activist, but the activists are going about it all wrong.

The bottom line is they cannot take away our gun rights. They should not go after a certain type of gun, they should go after a certain type of person who has the potential to kill mass amounts of people.

The N.R.A. has released a statement after the attack, “Our deepest sympathies to victims in El Paso and Dayton.” N.R.A. spokesman Andrew Arulanandam stated, “We will not participate in the politicizing of these tragedies. As always, we will work in good faith to pursue real solutions that protect us all from people who commit these horrific acts.”
