Sprite Takes A Step To The Left With Promoting Transgenders

Sprite Takes A Step To The Left With Promoting Transgenders

More and more brands are starting to get political. They start out with a slow lean to the left or right to test out the waters. If they don’t like it, they lean the other way until they steady out once again. However, Sprite decided to take a giant step to the left with a new ad that celebrates parents who are helping their kids be transgender.

Advertising and the promotion of unnecessary desires were always something that the left shunned because it was all about capitalism. However, Sprite has decided that they’re going to not only advertise but cling to the left. The sugary soft drink could easily be seen as an unnecessary desire. It would seem that advertising such a thing would be a very Republican thing to do if the Dems had any say about it.

Their new advertising budget is promoting the parents who encourage their children to become transgender. A campaign is being pushed by the cultural left is shaking the foundations of society.

Mothers of boys are applying makeup in the ad, dressing their sons in feminine clothing, all while smiling at each other. Meanwhile, mothers of girls are binding the breasts of their daughters to make them appear more male. Then, a grandmother teases her grandson while helping him to dress in drag.

The ad continues by showing children prep for a Pride event with a rainbow flag while embracing LGBT family members. It appears as though the parents are sending their LGBT children off to celebrate.

The video arrives in Argentina just in time for them to celebrate their Pride Week in Buenos Aires. The ad ends with a Spanish phrase that translates to a definition of pride which means when “someone you love chooses to be happy.”

Activist Mommy explores the motives that are at work within the commercial. It’s a tactic that’s commonly used by big brands, like Sprite, to help those within the LGBT community feel good about themselves. Meanwhile, it makes those who disagree with that lifestyle appear to be uncompassionate, cold-hearted, and hateful. This creates an artificial juxtaposition that brings division and further polarizes the opposing sides that are found within the culture war. Activist Mommy explains that Sprite has issued a silent message that says that if you aren’t like the people in the ad, you aren’t loving.

The number of people in Argentina or even the US for that matter who identify as transgender are still a very small fraction of the population. It isn’t as though Coca-Cola is trying to appeal to this small percentage. Instead, they are trying to show how “progressive and woke” the company is. Regardless, Sprite is really just sugar water in expensive packaging. However, with fortunes being spent on this advertising, it creates a cultural divide and shows that Coca-Cola is on the “winning” side because, somehow, the far left has gotten so aggressive that they feel as though they are the only side of that matters.

The ad regarding the transgender children has not appeared in the United States as of yet – and it’s unclear as to whether it will or not. There have been a number of companies that have gone political, either to the left or right, and have not been able to recover. Perhaps Coca-Cola in all of their advertising wisdom decided to test it out in Argentina to see what the response was. While no one has gone completely ballistic, it’s most likely because Argentinians don’t react as Americans do.

Parents Magazine recently tried to express that they are sympathetic to transgender children and the parents who raise them – and it was not accepted well. The right set the left in its place for trying to force gender on children who had not even hit puberty.

The Sprite commercial is at least respectful of the fact that they use teenagers throughout the ad, showing that they have gone through puberty and have at least some idea of what they want.

There’s a fine line that occurs with the transgender of respecting wishes and pushing an agenda. Kids have to be at least 13 years of age to make a decision according to most doctors around the United States. With the Sprite ad, it’s not even about the soda. It’s more of a political statement than anything else, which is why it might not ever grace any US programming. They’re not advertising their product. No one needs to know what Sprite thinks about the transgender community.

  1. Last year Sprite was all black with Lebron James. So, I don’t drink Sprite. Never will. It taste like human waste. Must be made in San Francisco. They have a lot of pride, don’t they.

  2. Why in the hell would they back parents that are out right abusing their children. They are mentally ill people that are transgenders and now just watch the suicide rate jump way high when these poor kids kill themselves because of their stupid abusive parents. Satan is winning the battle in this country God bless us.

  3. Oboy, Satan certainly IS alive and well in the world! God help us! I really feel bad for my grandchildren; they’ll have to face a disgusting future. The Left is one huge bunch of sickos.

    1. I have to agree with you on both of your points. Satan has taken the left by the throat and wrung the soul out completely. Only sadists and torturers could do what they do, and not only do it, but smile, too, while advocating that you are the crazy bad mean person, not them. My country is doomed if we don’t shake the literal hell out of what has become our politics, and regain both God and Country by sheer force of faith. We must fight. I shall. My kids and grandkids need me to do it.

  4. As an old person…. in all my 85 years I have never seen any company pushing their products like a drink push people to be heterosexual…. PLease when is it a company’s business to push a certain sex. It is getting so bad that our schools and companies are making it the “in” thing to be gay or lesbian. …. when many of these children are being brain washed from their early school years to chose a path because it is the “in” thing.

  5. Another company for my list of boycotts. I patronize companies that just produce a good product and stay out of politics. Second Vote is a website that is good for learning the political companies.

  6. The ad isn’t about promoting the brand? Of course it is. It’s as cynical as any other ad campaign. Coca Cola is positioning itself to appeal to the Woak market.
Boycotting Coke and other Coca-Cola-owned brands will be harder than you might think at first. For one thing, take a look at the Wiki page on the company to see how many brands they own that you wouldn’t think have anything to do with them like Minute Maid, Monster, and Bacardi Mixers.
When they realize what a tiny market segment they’re appealing to, and how few Woaksters actually spend what little disposable income they have on Coke products they’ll dump the campaign.

    1. Most normal people with a brain would dump a campaign like that, but you forget what kind of political climate we are in, and what kind of people schmooze with these CEO bigshots. Coke will not dump the campaign,. it will just tell the customers that they should be more like the rest of the left-idiots. Coke knows it is too diversified and too embedded in the economy to take more than a small hit, because most people will just shrug and keep buying the products the are used to. I wish it were different, but most of the country will not care enough to vote with their wallets.

  7. I don’t really care what people do in their own homes but I despise these big money companies pushing this immoral, mentally ill sick BS pushing this trash in my face. If the election for this ‘alphabet soup’ mentally ill sodomy had been placed in a national election instead of a low class, low turnout town mayor or councilman election it would have lost by a landslide. I live in a small town of about 3000 people and our recent election for a mayor had less than 200 people turnout to vote.

  8. Sprite, and every name brand anything, needs to stay out of politics and just sell a good quality product at a fair price. It is far better to get patronage from everyone than half of everyone.

  9. Is there no depth to which these morons at Sprite will descend!!! How possibly would a company promote a dispicable act by a parent encouraging a child to become a transgender. Why not let a child grow up to be at an age of reason before leading them down a path they may not have followed if they had not been led there by,of all persons, their parents. GOD BLESS AMERICA,PLEASE!!!!!

  10. The left is taking this country into a moral sewer. Our children are being taught by these same left wing radicals
(from grade school to grad school). As the sampling is twisted, so grows the tree. Evil triumphs when good people do nothing. The deviates at first wanted only recognition. Now they want control.

  11. The pushing of pedophiles as a life style…plain and simple. Kids being exposed to this shit should be removed from their parents and the parents…”parents”…yeah right……should be imprisoned.

  12. Sprite is making a death sentence for their business, I wonder if the manager are nuthead? Kind of like these parents who would been in a mental illness center if it wasn’t for Bill Clinton and Democrats decide to close up the center. These parents promoted suicide in these children. Just don’t be surprised if other kids beat them up! God have mercy on these sick parents!

  13. I will never spend another cent on ANY of their products wish millions more would do the same, this is supposed to be a country run by MAJORITY rule not minority, if these people want to ignore nature that is fine with me but stay the hell out of my life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. The constant lecturing and “social engineering” by the left is revolting. It is an indication of just how limp we are as a society.

  15. Thank you for every other great post. Where else could anyone get that type of information in such an ideal manner of writing? I have a presentation subsequent week, and I’m on the look for such info.

  16. If someone is worth promoting in a business LGBT or otherwise, so be it. Hire and promote the best employees. But I see no value in running ads that go against the beliefs of over half the country. They claim 10 to 15% of the populace is LGBT. They claim another 30% supports their cause. That means that over half of the populace does not support their cause or don’t care.
Just another reason not to drink sprite. Vote with your dollars.

  17. Pushing Transgender on our youth and shoving down everyone’s throats when Transgenders have a very high suicidal rate your encouraging people to become who they naturally while growing up would have never gone that route. Pushing Transgender onto our youth you are writing a death sentence to a large percentage of them.

  18. If a mentally ill individual came to any of these compassionate jerks and said they wanted to kill themselves, most of the idiots would move heaven and earth to prevent that sick person from harming themselves. But, for some reason known only to God, if the same mentally ill person asked to have their apparent gender changed, the jerks pull out their scalpels and begin mutilating the sick person. It makes me wonder which of the people involved are the more mentally sick-the person requesting the gender modification or the person willing to destroy the life of a mentally ill patient.

  19. Wow. Am I tired of all the LGBT emphasis. People are people and we all have our rights because we are God’s children. You do not get your value from being a member of one of these groups. Your activity defines you. Promoting LGBT activity is a sad trap for the uncertain and confused. We are not helping anyone by promoting LGBT. Moral confusion, emotional upset, and physical diseases are not good things. And gays are over reaching and tyrannical when they try to force innocent people to participate in their activities.
