Climate Control Begins With Building Everyone a New House…May We Introduce…the Biden Administration

Joe Biden is off to a rip-roaring start. He’s sorting through the resumes of potential staff members in his search for the best liberal flunkies he can appoint. And he’s doing a great job of it so far.

With climate change being such a huge issue among libs, Biden knew he had to be particularly cautious concerning his selections to tackle the highly fabricated ‘so-called’ problem.

Two of the top environmental aides already selected were so excited to clean up America that they wasted no time in displaying their lack of worth. As ridiculous as this sounds, they’re pinning the rap for climate change on systematic racism.

More than likely the Biden administration instructed them to do so as justification for a complete economic overhaul, but couldn’t they have at least been a bit more creative?

Maggie Thomas, a progressive policy adviser, has been named as chief of staff of the Office of Domestic Climate Policy. Cecilia Martinez, a hard-left climate activist, will work closely with Thomas as a senior director for environmental justice.

The two unanimously agree that the incoming administration’s climate control policies must have absolutely everything to do with “racial and economic justice.” There is a direct link.

Martinez touted her platform in a 2019 press release by saying, “Unless intentionally interrupted, systemic racism will continue to be a major obstacle to creating a healthy planet. The only path forward is to design national climate policies that are centered on justice.”

Thomas and Martinez have a cockamamy scheme that would require trillions of dollars in government spending and the “realignment of public dollars at all levels.” The first step would be to rid America of its pesky fossil fuel-based economy.

Secondly, and far from the reach of either one’s expertise, the plan includes funding welfare programs such as relieving folks from having to pay their rent or utilities. But this is just the beginning.

Their scheme also calls for a huge investment in building quality affordable housing for those who choose not to work but still want to live the good life. And as one would expect, all of this is at the expense of those of us who are working.

None of this is sitting very well with founder and executive director of Power the Future, Daniel Turner, who is calling bull s***. In his eyes, this is no more than a ploy by the Biden administration to “nationalize the nation’s energy industry.” “Racism” and “justice” are separate issues. And sneaky Joe knows it. And…duh…we know it.

In Turner’s words, “Punishing America’s energy workers will do nothing to address climate change and it will do nothing to address injustices. It will, however, cause the prices of gas and utilities to rise sharply, and that will punish the less privileged most of all. We do need to talk about housing, employment, and racism, but doing so under the pretext of energy policy will deliver muddied, expensive, and pointless legislation.”

In many ways, Thomas and Martinez’s plan bears a striking resemblance to AOCs Green New Deal. The GNDs aim is to give everybody in the nation who wants one, a free house. The GND uses the same term, “economic transformation.”

Joe Biden once praised the Green New Deal as “a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face.” Biden must have skipped the part where it calls for “comprehensively addressing the most pressing, intersectional environmental justice issues.” We should probably address these things before they start melting icebergs and stuff…

Here’s a thought. How about if AOC, Thomas, and Martinez, merge their respective plans into one gazillion-dollar piece of legislation and be done with it? Can you just imagine? Every family in America will be living high off the hog in their brand new homes with plenty of good stuff in the fridge. A chicken in every pot.

There would be a downside though. America would have to declare bankruptcy, and without adequate fuel supplies those new homes wouldn’t have any power, but look at the bright side…

Buckle up, boys and girls. The ride has just begun.
