Biden Cheers on Rampant Crime by Looking to End the Federal Death Penalty
Crime deterrents need to exist. It ensures that criminals don’t believe that they can do anything and everything while being able to get away with it.
Particularly heinous crimes result in the death penalty. This includes murder, treason, espionage, and several others.
While the death penalty is a sentence, most people will get life without parole. Even if a person is sentenced to the death penalty, it could be years before the execution is carried out.
Knowing that the death penalty is an option helps to keep criminals in check. If you commit a horrible crime, you may eliminate your right to live. It’s simple.
With all that has happened across the U.S. in the past year with rampant crime, it’s clear there needs to be more deterrents in place, not less.
Too many liberals have even managed to get people out of jail. Our very own vice president has helped to support a bail fund that allows people to commit crimes and have their bails paid.
What kind of message is that sending? As long as we agree with the crime you’ve committed, you’re not going to jail. We’ll pay your bail. We’ll even make sure that our liberal district attorneys never even charge you for a crime.
This is a dangerous precedent to send. It allows for more crime because people feel as though they can be social justice warriors and take it to the next level. It also undermines all of the work being done by police officers.
After all, why should police continue to respond to 911 calls? Why should they risk their lives to put criminals behind bars when those criminals won’t have to pay?
Joe Biden is determined to lead the country toward mayhem and anarchy. He’s the first sitting president to openly oppose the death penalty.
It’s funny. He’s got no problem killing unborn babies through abortion, but he wants to protect the lives of violent criminals. Shouldn’t it be all or nothing?
Not with our president. Our president would rather support the lives of criminals who prevent law-abiding Americans from feeling safe.
Biden has been discussing the possibility of preventing the Department of Justice to stop scheduling new executions.
Oh, and this is likely not up for discussion. Biden won’t bring this to Congress to ensure that Americans get a chance to speak up on the issue. Instead, he’ll make the decision for everyone. He’ll just grab up his trusty pen and make it law through executive order.
Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary, has been pressed on the issue about what Biden’s planning to do about the death penalty. Right now, she’s still playing dumb. She claims that there’s “nothing to preview” about the issue.
Biden is focused on himself. He wants to take any pressure off of himself from the demands of outside groups. With many liberals opposing the death penalty, stopping the scheduling of new executions would take care of that. For now.
Stopping the scheduling of new executions is not the same as getting rid of the death penalty.
The U.S. is one of the few countries where the death penalty is still an option. However, the U.S. also has higher crime rates than many other countries. Eliminating the death penalty could dramatically increase crime rates because the most important deterrent of all is no longer. If people can commit violent crimes and live, there’s no deterrent.
Biden will only solve one of the demands from the liberals, though. Those in favor of abolishing the death penalty also want the federal death chamber to be bulldozed in Terre Haute, Indiana. They want to see the death penalty to be removed as a possible sentencing option across the U.S.
If Biden wants to ensure there are no executions during the four years of his presidency, it can be as simple as saying not to schedule any. However, by doing so, he might as well act as a cheerleader to all of the crimes that have and will be committed during his four years, too.
