Is This Really Our President! Biden’s Commencement Speech to the Class of 2021 Is … Different
Biden offered up a speech to every single student who is graduating this year and that was already strange enough. Allow us to break this one down for you: we are not talking about one specific commencement address. He prepared a speech that was designed to shown to every member of the class of 2021.
The speech that he prepared was not the most inspiring thing in the world but that’s to be expected with him. The White House prepared a video and the video was tweeted out to the rest of the world. As you would have expected, we could not resist taking a closer look. It’s every bit as ridiculous as you would have thought.
For as much as someone like Dubya got made fun of for meandering speeches, Biden might have him beat. With Dubya, we at least knew where he was going with it, even if it took him a long time to get there. In Biden’s case, we don’t have the faintest idea what he is talking about most of the time.
Instead of offering up a basic address that made the students feel good about the future, Biden decided that it was a better idea to give them a lot to be depressed about. The typical Democrat talking points were centered in the speech, too. There’s no way that he was going to let the moment pass without getting in his shots at the people who he blames for our current divisions.
The idea that he would ever bring people together is only getting funnier and funnier in retrospect. Every time he speaks publicly, he does everything that he can to widen the divide. “Congratulations to the Class of 2021. You’re graduating at an inflection point in our nation’s history – and you have a genuine opportunity to change the trajectory of our country. Seize this moment. I can’t wait to see what you accomplish,” he tweeted.
He barely made room for the congratulations part before he immediately started to poke our national wounds. Worst of all, he only speaks for a little under 3 minutes. It feels rushed and tossed off, with little consideration for students who may not want to be beaten over the head with Democrat buzzwords.

The short speech still puts Biden’s declining mental acuity on full display. He struggles to read from the teleprompter, mumbles and even hits a microphone. Systemic racism, the economy and climate change are all discussed. Biden also couldn’t resist bringing his own graduation into the discussion. Daily Mail has more:
Comparing today’s students to those who graduated during the era of the civil rights and anti-war protest movements, Biden encouraged them to seize the moment to tackle climate change and systemic racism which he described as one of ‘the great crises of our time’.
Biden recounted his own experience and said that shortly after he graduated, his generation faced an inflection point as the Vietnam War split the nation coupled with fights for civil rights, women’s rights and environmental rights.
‘And now you face another inflection point,’ he said. ‘As we put this pandemic behind us, rebuild our economy, root out systemic racism and tackle climate change, we’re addressing the great crises of our time with a greater sense of purpose than before.
‘And because of you, your generation, I’ve never been more optimistic about the future than I am today,’ he added.
‘Just three years after I stood where you’re standing, two of my political heroes, Dr. King and Robert Kennedy, were gunned down.
‘The Vietnam War divided the nation and divided families. We’re in the midst of a great movement for civil rights, women’s rights, and environmental rights.
‘We — we faced an — an inflection point, and we did our best to seize that moment, because things were changing so rapidly, and now you face another inflection point.”
It seems a bit odd for the speaker to be dwelling on the past like this, doesn’t it? There’s no inspiration to be found here and comparing the modern day issues we face to the trials and tribulations of Joe Biden’s past seems more than a bit misguided!
